Diode Count On Bridgelux strips (BXEB-L1120Z-35E4000-C-B3)

Hi all! I've crawled data sheets, delved the forum, and deep dove the googlesphere but I can't seem to come across something that seems like a basic piece of information. How many diodes are on the bridgelux 4 foot strips? Arrow advertises that there is 33 on them but I can't see there only being 33 diodes, is that correct of their webpage? Any input would be helpful because I feel I just keep looking past the information as it definitely has to be somewhere

I think it goes 56 for the 1’, 112 for the 2’, and 224 for the 4’. You can actually count the diodes on the drawing of the strips in the data sheet.

That seems like a far more likely amount, but now i'm off to count the diodes by eye to make sure. Thanks a lot, definitely helped out!

In my bridgelux vesta strips they have the specs written on the bottom left side:

280x31-3s16px2...

The first numbers are size 280mm x 31mm
The second numbers are the diode layout 3 series 16 parallel x two lines of leds. so 3x16x2 equals 96 diodes. The EB's have a single line of diodes so it should be even easier to calculate.

You can see the number code on the bottom left of the strip 280x31 - 3s16px2

the cardboard build 😂
btw what wire is this and how did it fit inside these connectors?

I have no clue on the size of the wire, I had an even thicker wire that was single strand... it did seem to work though. Now I've ripped off the plastic covers from all the quick connectors, revealing a kind of metal cage that holds the wires very well, but that its easier to release cables from when necessary :D

oh nice tip thanks. tried that as well. now they really are releasing the cable when you push them. unfortunately i've ripped one pad off but without the plastic cover it's gonna be easier soldering them back on
