Hello first of all as i just joined this forum, all my respects for all the electricians out there which have time to explain everything for the rest of us who are not so smart :d . I can see that is one of the few forums which responds only on subject without all the crap you find everywhere else that makes your topic 10 pages.

I'm interested if this project is doable and i would really need help with wiring scheme as it is my first project and i can't quite afford to risk it and do it myself and ruining my investment therefore i kindly ask if someone is able to help me.

Going for 3 autoflowering in 21 L dwc buckets.

6 x 980LM

3 x 4335LM
https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detai ... ND/6624001

3 x 4500LM
https://www.digikey.co.uk/product-detai ... ND/6624003

will be using aluminium u channel for frame and heatsink.

If it's possible,i would like some driver suggestion, which kind of wagos and how many, which power should i run it,help with wiring scheme.

Many thanks, looking forward for an answer
i am open to any suggestion

Hey!

Looks like a neat little build. Do you want to be able to dim each of the different colors individually, or are you content to have them all run at the same intensity and dim together? If you want them to operate independently of one another, you'll need 3 drivers. Otherwise, you'll be able to do it with 1.

I would like to dim all together and btw i will swap the 3500K with the q series, thanks for your fast response and i hope you will have time to help me with the rest of my questions.I appreciate

Are the LT-Q282A strips 11v? Would you not need a seperate driver for them?

Yes they are 11V,so i need 2 drivers?

Yeah they'll make it a little more difficult but still doable.

For the 6x Q strips I'd suggest wiring parallel on an HLG-40H-12-B. My reasoning behind this driver: it should put out 3.6A at most, and this will get split among the 6 strips. 3.6A/6 = 600mA per strip, and the each strip has 5 parallel runs of diodes, so 600mA/5 = 120mA per run which = 120mA per diode. Each diode has a max of 180mA so this would be running them at 67% with the driver turned all the way up.

For the 6x F-series 2 footers, I'd wire them all in parallel on an HLG-150H-24-B. This will put out 8A at most. 8A/6 strips = 1.3A per strip. 1.3A per strip divided by 9 parallel runs = 144mA per run which = 144mA per diode. Each LM561C has a max of 200mA so this would be running them at 72% with the driver all the way turned up.

Make sure you get the B version of both drivers and then you can use a single 50K ohm potentiometer to dim them both simultaneously.

Here is how I'd wire it. For the HLG-150H-24, I used pink for positive wires and green for negative, just to make it more readable.

At what wattage should i run this setup for the best Lumen per watt?Apart from the power cords do i need anything else?

these connectors are great for the a.c. side...

you could even use a three way one to hook both drivers to one a.c. plug
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XPX5W ... ref=plSrch

and the 5way wago connectors.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XH47DC2?psc=1
there's the other style of wago but the smallest pack I saw was 40 of them.

I'm not sure about this.. but I think they need thermal paste or tape.. ( I know cobs and mono stars need it.. but my QB's don't.. I'm not sure about the strips.)
