Hello amegos.

I'm looking to order a new set of strips and am wondering if the samsung f-series that is suggested in the diy strip guide is still the way to go or if there is a new strip on the block? I would prefer to use 2foot strips but can make due. I see Samsung are now doing horticulture specific strips now too which look great but are out of stock of the 2ft on digikey.

Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you're doing the build off of the Diy mid power section that was the gen 2 Bridgelux data and since then the gen 3 have been out I did the newer lights with them so the specs will be better than in the article.

Maybe eventualy the site owner might update the guide with the bridgelux gen 3 or does a new guide with updated parts and layouts it would be awesome but I'm sure it takes a LOT of time to do.
Would be very much appreciated by the community.

Here is a flower light I've been really happy with and it'll get even better once I eventually get some buddies off Teknik and add them into the lights.

Welight is really knowledgeable and a distributor down in Australia who has been really helpful.

Cutter.com.au

Green Gene is in America with Pacific Light Concepts and his Photo Boost Strips are worth checking into as well.

Lastly,

Peter_1 you'll see comment in some of the threads with some good different layout options.

Enjoy.

Someone more knowledgeable can help a lot more but hopefully that points you in the right direction to get you going on this endeavor.

I've been very happy with the BXEB-L0590U-40g1500-C-C3 strips. They're way more compact than the f-strips too. They also launched a hort specific line called Thrive. I ordered a bunch, but can't speak to their performance yet.
