Where do big companies buy their strips?

The answer in a nutshell seems to be China. I have been using well over 1000 strips per year (and growing) in my builds and am looking for a wholesale source.
I would rather do business with a nation that has more ethical labor and environmental laws but I have found that it is not possible to make any profit at the prices they offer, regardless of volume.

I haven't been able to figure out where brands like gavita, lux, photontek, ect get their strips made.
There must be 100 brands offering 301b/301h +far red strips in their grow lights, so who is making the strips for them?
I highly doubt they have their own pick and place CNC machines and produce the strips themselves.

-Contract Manufacturers...USA, China, Canada, Mexico based....different ways to control or not control your supply chain and verify component. Qualities, prices,... Can find them all over alibaba if your just slanging DIY lights.
-OEM/ODMs...housing, board and driver combos. Slap a brand name sticker/label on it a send it out. Won't be able to get just boards from them, they only sell the whole package. Sunritek probably one of the current biggest
-Indeed many do have assembly equipment(pick and place, reflow,...) and make it in house. SPecially with Tariffs for US based manufacturers.
