Hi guys, I've come to the definitive build that will light up my 40x37x100cm DIY growbox.
7 x Bridgelux EB Series Gen 2 strips
wired in series
Meanwell ELG-100-C500B
It will give a total of 69.6W at 500mA (unlikely in this growbox I will use them), 47.7W at 350mA (which is the rated current), etc.
The LED strips will be mounted on an aluminum plate of 2/3mm with thermal tape, since they should not become very hot I think that this kind of heatsink is sufficient
Shopping list:
- 10 × led strip (3 for reserve)
- Driver
- 18awg solid wire
- 4 × Wago connector (2 for reserve)
- Heat shrink (I will use it to cover the connection between driver and dimmer as seen in the Ledgardener video)
- Thermal tape
- Cable connector
- Aluminum plate
- 0~10VDC 100K ohm potentiometer, here I have a problem in the choice; this is ok?

If it doesn't fit, could you show me a suitable one? (preferably from DigiKey)
I seem to have put everything in, what do you think?
Shopping list before buying, there is everything?
This 100K Ohm pot has +/- 10% Tolerance, better accuracy than your current pick (+/- 20%)... https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... A1/4733104

I'm not a fan of high voltage series circuits, prefer to maintain SELV circuits < 60 Vdc using MeanWell XLG series LED Drivers in Parallel or 2-Series/Parallel Circuits.
XLG-75-H-AB, Constant Power LED Driver (full 75 Watts @ 39 Vdc, wired 2-Series/Parallel)... https://www.digikey.it/en/products/deta ... B/10129177
