Test firing the strips, almost blinded myself:

Epoxied to heatsinks:

Wiring & driver mounting:

The end result (never mind the drywall hole- it's a rental):

Smart plug is used for power monitoring (dimmed to 230w), remote on/off, and as a light timer. Need to redo the power plug at some point, it's a bit ugly.

I'm using the light to start seeds indoors for the garden. 5000K strips would probably be better for this, less stretch. Also should have spaced out the heatsinks a bit more for better light intensity at the edges.

May reconfigure to 2x2 and put it into a tent after the seedlings are done.

Awesome! Looks super clean man, nice work.

Those heatsinkusa sinks are so sexy. How did that thermal interface work out?

Using L bars to keep the driver snug in place is a touch of elegance. Nice work!

Seems to be quite good so far. It goes on like very thick thermal paste, was a bit difficult to work with. Feels like the strips are very secure on the heatsinks.

Originally I ordered thermal tape from the US, but the order didn't show up after 2+ weeks. The epoxy had 1 day delivery on Amazon, so figured I'd give it a shot instead of re-ordering the tape and potentially delaying the project further.

Should be PART: 1510-2222-ND. There is a link Samsung datasheet on the LED strip designs post I believe, you can also find the parts on Digikey via the Samsung part # (SI-B8U521560WW) on that sheet

Thanks for the feedback guys. This was a cool project.
