What's the difference between these ? I was expecting S-06. My strips are 3000K @ 80 CRI.

Did you get these strips from Digikey?

I've been waiting on some 3000k and 5000k myself...

I’m guessing you’re getting that off of the sticker on each strip. From what I gather, that section is called “maker”, and “S” stands for Samsung. Not sure what the number refers to (maybe it’s a location or factory or something).

Oh - ok. Thanks. I thought maybe it was a new, hyper efficient bin...

Samsung data sheet (from Digi-Key) says the number after the "S" indeed is "binning group". Googled around quickly and there actually seems to be S7 bin diodes. Don't know if they are "super efficient", it's extra 5,6 lumens per watt for 70cri model (for which I found the numbers).

I have not seen an s7 bin before. Do you have a data sheet that shows it?

Edit: just found it on the LM561C sheet. Silly me.

Here is what I’m talking about from the F-strips data sheet (section 4):

Ok. That does clarify it. Thank you
