Would this driver be suitable for 2 ,QB 288 . It's just an easy and quick buy for me and being in Australia cutter electronics is by far my best place for purchasing I just want to make sure it would power the 2 board's

It depends on how hard you want to drive the boards. That driver will work, but you'll be limiting the output to about 67 watts/board. The QB288 has a max stated current of 3000mA (in reality, it's higher than that), but it's best to run a bit lower. 2100-2400mA would be the current range I'd target. If I remember correctly, the theoretical max current for the board is 3200mA, so 2100mA would be driving at 66% and 2400mA would be 75%. If I were setting up 2 boards, I would run the HLG-240H-C2100 or step up to the HLG-320H-C2800 and plan to run with the driver dimmed a little. Alternatively, you could run the HLG-320H-C2100 which would give you the flexibility to add a third board in the future if you desired.

it will power 2 boards no problem. but your driver efficiency will be lower because of only using 108v out of the 179v max... like eighties said your boards running under 70w a piece.. you could even throw a 3rd 288 on that driver later on..
if you want to max a driver efficiency with only 2 boards, go 2100ma.. if you want to run softer with better efficacy, run the 1400ma and add a third board..
I ran 4 boards on a 480h-c2100 for almost a year... now I run 6 on a 480h-54.. which takes them down to that 1400-1500ma range... I prefer the latter.. ( edit) mainly because of less heat on my poor little slate 1 heatsinks.. along with the better efficacy...

I thought I was jumping the gun a bit the next best thing they have in stock is a step up. I don't mind paying the extra $ for better efficiency.
