Hey what's up guys..... I got everything as planned last week but got a little busy and couldn't build anything but was able to test all the boards. Holey freaking light lol. Those things are bright and not even turned up. I used the eighth in aluminum for the heatsink. Just wanted to thank you guys for the help.

Looks great man. I like the grommets for protecting the wire.

Mannnnnnnnn..... Don't get me going on that lol. I got all the way to the end, in the home stretch and realized I forgot to buy grommets lmfao.... I had to come up with something or wait until next weekend. So I cut the heads off some wire nuts lol

Hey guys i just ordered 2 Quantum 288 boards and can't find any heatsinks so i'm trying to research some DIY options and this is the closest page i could find somewhere that has any alternate suggestions to the Slate options from HLG....can any of you guys recommend or what am i looking for in aluminum if i go to my local lowes/home depot?

Again, using 2 288 boards looking to mount for a 4x4 tent (if this works i'm goiing to double it and have 2, 2-board setups) Just need some help finding a suitable DIY heatsink, any help would be appreciated!

The slate 4 is just a slab of 3/16” aluminum. Do you have access to something like that?

Hey what's up guys? It's been a while since I have been around. I'm about to build a 4 qb light and needed some advice on what wire I should get. I've used 18awg wire before on my cob build and my 2 boards build but was not sure if that would work with the hlg 480 h c 2100a. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Which 4 qb are you running? If you plan on using that on series. The connectors are only rated for 300v. Just make sure you don't go over the rated voltage of any wire or connectors.
