What would you use for sealant?
There are some thorough/interesting answers and info on the subject here: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/q ... components

Everybody in this field sources from Alibaba, have no doubt about it. I doubt there's any major LED factory outside of Shenzhen for that matter.

Yeah thats not it though. Like I said dude just seems shady when i see him on the streams hes on.. On top of my emailing him and sending msg on IG like a month ago with no response. What I meant is its just some generic board, I realize tons of stuff comes from china, I have no predisposition against china made stuff. Id rather back people who help the community, have real research and tests to show, and respond to questions.

I don't particularly like his instagram account either.

Given that all such brands have production made in the same handful of factories -- that you can source from personally -- the only real thing that sets them apart is customer service and care: answering questions and helping you out if things go wrong. Nice pictures are also nice :)

I picked up a couple Fusion boards last night. I'll post more when they arrive...

The Samsung Strips are getting cheaper than when I bought them a couple of months ago for $11 each. Arrow has them for between $7-8 USD with free overnight shipping. https://www.arrow.com/en/products/si-b8 ... lectronics
Interesting.... the price went back up to $12.85 USD.

Hey guys,

I haven't built the frame for it, but I've wired this is mock-up of the PFD 240s and QB304 boards:

QB304 @ 3500K / 2 x WaVy 240 / 2 x Fusion 240 / 320H-C1050:

  • I'm not maxing this driver out, the way I'd like... so I'm losing some driver efficiency. Negligible? I may look to reconfigure this down the line, but I'm not too worried about it now...
2 x QB304s @ 2700K / 240H-C1050:
240_1050_only.png
240_1050_only.png (5.57 MiB) Viewed 1168 times
540w combined total:

540w_1872_LEDs.png (7.49 MiB) Viewed 1168 times
Mmm... yummy.

I'm vegging confirmed Vader OG females and prepping to take clones. I'm also re-vegging both the purple Querkle pheno and Papaya, from my last grow.

See you soon.

BTW - these boards are rated for 1.6 to 2.1A (I'm running at 1050mA), so I could potentially run these very efficiently at 860-1000w, no problem.

And if I haven't said so, I like the 240s very much.
