Hard to get transmission numbers much >90% with any type of acrylic/polycarbonate.

There is some pretty high tech stuff going on in the world of solar panels though - I would look into PV encapsulants if I were to go down that road.

Tempered glass is still a very good performer, up to 95% light transmission depending on the source.

Sure, Professor.

With nothing in the way the Fluke 87-5 meter and Apogee SQ-500 showed 241 umols, the lens filter was 230, tape was 227 and the plastic cover was 219.

Aloha & Interesting test. Gavita HID has replacement reflectors when the old ones are too dusty.
