Just purchased 4 of these https://chilledgrowlights.com/our-produ ... b-lens-h-s to throw in my growroom. I have always been a fan of Vitali and ChilLed grow lights. Anybody else have these growing something ?
I plan on running 3 channels
ELG 75 C1050B - blue
HLG 120H C1050B red
HLG 320H C1400 white

What are the benefits compared to strips or QB's? how do they compare in terms of price, performance and components?

4 channel boards
2 white
1 red
1 blue

226 LM561C
20 - L1SP-DRD0002000000 / red
4 - L1C1-red100000000 / deep red
8 - L1SP-ryl00020000000 / blue
2 - EAUVA35352GH8 / UV

Heat sink can be water cooled or with fan
Pc Lens with gasket for water tight seal
119.00usd

I was gonna purchase some qb11 blue and red to add to my qb288 but decided to go with the chilled tech boards as it will be a cleaner build having it all on one board.
I have 3 drivers
Hlg120 c1050b
Hlg320 c1400b
Elg75 c1050
I also have wireless controller for the setup.

So the reds, deep reds and blues are on separate channels from the lm561c's? I would love something like this but with the far reds for sleep initiation :)

Pretty expensive compared to Vestas... about 1:12 ratio.

Have you bumped into any side by sides comparing this to other lights?

I've followed ChilLED Vitaly and Mau5, and considered the simplified single channel Logic puck designs more recently released. Seeing them respositioning these older fancy ChilLED boards a little lower priced and DIY tailored, makes me wonder where they are at as far as moving with the market to more modern Samsung diodes. I've always had a bit of a level of confusion with the multi channel v1's and how exactly I would implement them and drive them within a system involving COB's already in the same space.

I had to make the choice to avoid their gear and go with the LM301B HLG boards when they dropped the QB288 V2, even though they are only the full spectrum white diodes. The HLG setup was SOOOOO simple with a single driver for a triple board setup, and an easy to install heatsink slate and even much more simple wiring compared to individualized strips. I expect HLG will be releasing Samsung red diodes implemented thoughtfully into a product very soon. This Atreum Lighting 288 diode board I'm testing for them is great gear for the price and great diode spread of the LM301B.

I think ChilLED boards, also being originally designed to work with ducting and 120mm fans and such kept the design a bit too crowded and in the skinny brick sized layout. They could benefit from adopting more spread out diode layouts on a larger board (squares sure are nice) and maybe even some options for the single vs multi channel and available colored diodes. I sense some pride in them that may keep them from going the no-brainer route, however. Hopefully they don't have much aversion to imitation.

Yea I totally get why someone would get a simple setup rather than multichannel boards.
I purchased these so I can play with spectrum , I already have a DIY HLG550 (3000k)with 3 qb96 6500k and a 2 QB288 v2(4000k) on HLG-240H-C2100B. I considered getting the atrium panels but thought "why not?" I figured I could have a bit of fun with the chilled boards.
I purchased the 3 drivers so i could have full control of the boards also.

I have a bluefish controller. I can connect anywhere as long as I have internet. It also supports a IP camera
It has 6 channels, I use something called a power switch tail to control the AC side.

I havn't got around to using the vestas much yet, but i'm looking forward to playing around with the spectrum. I see a lot of guys sold on certain temperatures, so I guess for them it makes sense to go all out on them. My feeling is every plant reacts differently to temperatures, so I like the idea of being able to tune plant by plant.

Bridgelux? What do you mean vestas?
Like there are strips with reds and blues mixed in with white? Sorry for the ignorance.
