Hi everyone. First post here. I’ve got my veg tent set up and now I’m waiting for the last piece of my 3x3 flower tent.

I want to go with the 4x QB132 (2700K). So far I have not been able to find these available anywhere. I know HLG products are often sold out, I was wondering if anyone had any idea how long they are typically out of stock for. I emailed HLG a week ago but didn’t get a response.

If I can’t secure these in the next 1-2 months can anyone recommend a similar setup? I love the efficiency of the setup I have picked out as well as the fact that it doesn’t need a Heatsink because it runs so cool. I also love the even coverage I would get with this setup.

I appreciate your input!

Steve from HLG said he was waiting for their new production machine to come online before they made a V2 (LM301B diodes) version of the qb132 on the GML show 2 weeks ago. 2700k V1 boards have been sold out for a few months. You might have more luck with 3000k or a qb120. Let us know! :)

Thanks for the info! Did he give any timetable on the production of the V2 132’s?

Eighties reported he emailed HLG and they informed him an ETA of next week and on Amazon a few days later. SOON!

Just a heads up that the HLG website is selling 4 packs of the 3500K QB132 V1 for $99 right now. I just placed an order, so we'll have to wait and see whether or not they really have them. For that price I'm willing to run the very slightly less efficient 561C diode. This industry is moving so fast that I'll probably be upgrading my lights in another year anyway. I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole QB132 board redesigned to include red diodes like they did with the QB96 elite. That seems to be the way the industry is moving.

Hmm. I really wanted to wait on the 2700k, but that’s a pretty sweet deal on the 3500k. Considering these QB’s are strictly for flowering, do you think the 3500k is still going to produce really good results? I’m willing to wait and also to spend the few extra bucks on 2700k if that really is the best option.

Thank you for the heads up!

From the looks of the website, it appears that when the V2 comes out it will be available in 3000 or 4000K, so you may not be able to get the 2700K anyway. It's up to you, but I'm going to run the 3500K for late veg through flower. Not sure that it's 100% optimal, but good enough for me.

Thanks for your response. I think I’m going to end up getting the V2 3000K.

The QB132 V2 boards are now up for sale on HLG's website for $125/4 pack + shipping. They are available in 3000 and 4000K. HLG is extremely slow in shipping, so you might be better off waiting until they hit amazon. The V1 boards I ordered last week still don't appear to have shipped even though they created a shipping label on Sunday.
