Hi there I'm new here, found LEDGardener on YouTube while thinking about DIY a LED panel. Luckily I heard about Quantum Boards from him. These Samsung Strips looks awesome! :D

So, as I don't know how I have to do the math for the best setup, could you tell me how many strips I need for my 32" X 32" tent? I would like to run it at 250 - 300W, getting ~1000 PFD, as this seems best value for growing big flowers :)
What do you think about this one SI-B8V261560WW LED MOD FSERIES GEN3 3000K STRIP?
Could 12 of them fit my tent or do I need more? What driver I need to power them by 250 - 300w?

Sorry for that many questions, but I don't want to do something wrong ...

12 of those would be bitchin' in that size of tent. 12 of them could run a 3'x3' so that number will work nicely for you. 1000PPFD is a lot of light so you'd need to still run them fairly hard - an HLG-320H-24 will get you there.

That's awesome! With driver round 100bucks that would be right in my budget (Plus alu profiles and wires of course).

Do I have any disadvantages by run them this hard? :o
And how do I need to wire them with this driver? Can I wire it in serial? Cause otherwise I don't know how to wire it properply paralell.. And do I understand it right thats its than up to 320W but i can dim it the way I want?

You can use the HLG-320H-24A up to 1330 mA, so power wont be problem with serial wiring, but I dont know whats about voltage. I heard you need to be sure it its less than 300V. Correct me pls if Im wrong...

Anyway, I have a similiar setup, and Im also thinking about get another driver, so I can push it up to 1000 PPFD.
Look at my thread, I posted a link where you can see the serial wiring I was using too. Dont know this works with your driver too.. so much too learn, and so less time.. :o

And about firing them hard: I think theres some thing about effiency, it decrease when you use more power. But I think its still OK to do so.

btw sry bout my bad english, hope I could help you a little bit.
