Hi. I have buid a great flowering panel with bridgelux eb gen3 90cri.
Now I am looking foward to update my vegging lightning. It is a 60x60cm space Witherspoon two levels: one for Mother plants (height=100cm) and olhei for cloning and vegging before vegging.
So, any recomendations for boards I could use? Should I try to buy a finished board or stick with led strips?
Some people sugest using quantum boards availiable onde aliexpress but I really dont trust it.
Board for vegging, mother and clones
4000k CRI90 is pretty good for clones. You have done a strip build before so I would suggest you do another one. There isn't an advantage in buying from alibaba when bridgelux strips are so cheap.Gauss wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 4:33 pmHi. I have buid a great flowering panel with bridgelux eb gen3 90cri.

Yes, I will build another one. Thinking about bulding two paineils (one driver), one for Mother plants with about 5 or 6 280mm Bridgelux gen3 4000k 90 CRI (BXEB-L0280Z-40G1000-C-C3). Would build then on series with a HLG-120H-C700A driver.
Having a hard timing finding those strips on stock on online shops. Almost nothing for the gen3 280mm.
I could find at a good price some gen2 3500K or 5000K 80CRI. The 3500K is better but I am worried about stretching. My flowering panel is 3000K and I used it for vegging too, and experienced some streching indeed.
Would the 3500K be ok for vegging?
3500K CRI80 is ok too. It comes down to red/blue ratios. 3500K CRI80 is similar to 4000K CRI90 regarding red/blue ratios.Gauss wrote: ↑Sun Apr 25, 2021 12:05 pmHi TEKNIK,TEKNIK wrote: ↑Thu Apr 22, 2021 9:42 pm4000k CRI90 is pretty good for clones.
