Does anyone know if the new HLG QB324 is made using The same Samsung diodes as, say, the 288 boards, or do they use Nichia, or other?

They’re the same Samsung LM561C as the QB288/304/120.

Thanks, didn't see it specified, and they appeared possibly different, but might be just the perspective of the pic.

I thought they were using at least some Nichia for the added 90 CRI?

Found the riu thread: "They are NT2L757GTR-V1 80/90 mix." Thanks!

My bad. I misread the thread title and thought you were talking about the 132’s for some reason. I have a couple of the prototype 324’s with the Nichias and they’re pretty sexy.

That Nichias diodes looking so damn good...
Optisolis series with NF2W757GR-V1 N and NF2L757GR-V1 N if mixed right on a smart designed PCB it will be perfect spectrum... and bad ass board...
i found here some info...

What advantage might Nichia have, besides cost? (Which, of course, is a major consideration.)

Looking at the datasheet I see it's a tiny bit less efficient than the similar Samsung 3030 SMD (the LM301B) and a tiny bit more efficient than the more popular (at least on the forums) LM561C, when looking at all three running 3000k/90CRI with similar Fv/mA.
