Connect a camera

Hi, i have an infrared camera that i can connect to a pc. The question is, there is a way to connect the camera to the raspberrypi and to the home assistant app? so i can see my grow when im not in home and know when to water the plants.

if its a IP camera you can , i did manage to get my hikvisions cameras and/or nvr working on HA on the h264 codecs , on h265 was not working , last time i tried was around the xmas holidays .
i have a friend that got little wyze cameras and Reolink also connected to HA via network .

the infrared of my grow room cams is turned off on the camera firmware ( Hikvisions) , i use a RGB LED stripe on esp8266 and Wled connected to HA to illuminate at night when i need at low brightness and green color .

get yourself an esp32cam install esphome it integrates into HA effortlessly

You have an Addon named MotionEye
I am using a lamme USB webcam into raspberry4 working. You can use and ipcam too.
