My question is I have six qb304 boards with heat sinks. But I want to run them in 3 separate series of 2. For Mobility. Hlg website recommends 240 h C 1050. But I want to run my boards between 125 and 135 watts each. Any help would be deeply appreciated my plants are waiting for the improved light source. Thank you in advance!

How about a HLG-320H-C2800, and dim it down to 2.4A? Two QB304 in parallel, ~110V at 1.23A each

I'm concerned with thermal Runaway wiring it in parallel This is my first build so I'd like to keep it as simple as possible. But thanks for the idea

-C1400 then.

A lot of people wire in parallel, but thermal runaway doesn't seem to occur often, or, at all as far as I can tell.

I am running something veeeery similar to what you have and was worried about wiring in parallel. I have 3 QB288 V2 boards on one heat sink and another three the same way all wired in parallel using a 5 port wagos to help with the worry of thermal runaway. I also will put some fuses on it later but had to get the lights up and running before things got weird. So far all is good!

Go parallel without a worry. :geek:

Thank you so much for all your input now I have to find out what size screws to use to mount my Quantum boards to the heat sinks. Hlg apparently forgot to put them in the box with the 6 kits I ordered. If I want to get them done in a timely fashion I'm going to have to buy a box of 50 screws. If anyone knows what size screws these are I'd appreciate some insight.

M3 Screws

HLG says:

1x Slate 2 Predrilled 340mm Heatsink
M3 Screws to mount board included

Thank you! I was lucky enough to find them at Ace Hardware. The only ones to have them locally
