I’m just finishing off my builds and I’m looking for 3 100k ohm potentiometers. I don’t want to blind order and get 100ks that read 80k and have to put in a resistor. Can anyone lead me to some TRUE 100k ohm pots ?
Thanks
Finishing off build. Which potentiometers ?

I bought a pack of 10 uxcell 100k pots on amazon for 10 bux. Whoops.
Only 3/10 hit 100k.
Thank goodness I knew to test them from LEDG and Growmau5 vids.
My next pot from rapidled will cost me 6 dollars and save me a lot of problems as it has a chip in it to regulate and dispense with this nonsense.
If you think aboot it in terms of efficiency, saving 5 dollars for a cheap pot could cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars from the lost potential photon productivity over the years.
That's an opportunity cost I'd rather not pay.

It’s all about the tolerance.
Every pot has a margin of error. There’s no true 100k pot.
Buy the rapidLED pot like professor said.
Or just get on Digi-Key, find a pot with 5% tolerance, and buy a few of them.
That’s what I did and only one was under 100K.
You should always get a few extra anyway. They are super cheap.
