If you remember to update us, I'm curious what kind of temps those FB's run on the U channel.
Pleasantly surprised with EB Gen 2. Wired some up yesterday. Running <40C at max (1.4a) and I haven't even burned 'em in yet.

Went with 3000K for this light. Need nice flowers not, leaves
Will let You know about the temps, although its not a normal U channel. Something between it and radiator.

For Vegging I have this lil setup
10x strips of 2' Bridgelux EB Gen2 5000k on Meanwell HLG-185h-C700a to power them.
Running them only @65W to cover 600x1000 space. No heatsinks, temps in the tent are 26*C and strips are 27.5*C

Where did you get those U-Channels? Iv never seen anything like that.

Costed me ~96€ , thats inclyding cutting to size (10x 1140mm) and shipping (€36 ). Getting standard 40x20x2mm U-channel around where I live is difficult and around same price if You can find it so why not
Mind You, the contact area is only 36mm , NOT 40mm as in the profile section. 40mm is with the cooling fins.
Any Canadians/Canadiens interested in a group buy? Those Czech heatsinks would be perfect for a Vesta build. I was planning to just rip 1-1/2" box tubing on the band saw, but these are classy, and they'll work better too.

I'll double check those numbers for You again today. I'm not sure i was measuring them correctly yesterday, so I'll do couple more measurements for peace of mind

I did all the strips separately and took the average temps. It was hard to measure with the gun and depending on the angle it would give different reads at the same spot, but You get the idea. They are runnning cool
Ambient temp 26*C
Back of the strip 27.3*C / 29*C
Front of the strip (white coating ) 29.3*C / 30*C
TC³ 29.3*c / 28*5C
I will try to wire my strips with 5 way Wago 222 connectors. The only problem is I will have to push in two wires in one Wago port and it won't probably work as biggest wire diameter for this Wago is 12AWG . One wire would be wire going it would be 14AWG and 5x 18AWG going out. Does anyone know if it would be ok to split 14AWG into two separate cables ( with 3way Wago ) and fit them in one port to 5way with 18awg cable.
Would that equalize current between 5x output cables ?

Not sure of your conditions though - I'm guessing that is the bare strip at 2.2a? Or is that with the heat czink?
I know what you mean about temp readings - super finicky around the diodes... still, knowing your test conditions will provide a good data point for me, thanks again!

If you can provide a diagram of how your strips are located in the fixture, I'd be happy to superimpose some wiring on there. Maybe colour the strips based on which driver is powering them.
You are on the right track with 'bi-wiring', and that is a great way to reduce effective circuit length. I'm not sure about 2x 14ga in a wago. I'm sure you could get it to work, but it's not something I have tried, nor can I recommend. I've seen a lot of improvised electrical. Even done some myself... Can't recommend it on a public forum though.
The only way to equalize current between strips is to keep all circuits the same length. It's hard to comment on your drawing because nothing is labeled. I'm guessing the blue boxes are wagos? Bi-wiring a wago(?) per Untitled2 will do VERY little for distributing the current on those 5 wires coming out of the wago. It will just increase the effective cross section of wire supplying the wago. Effectively it's the same as just running a larger wire from the small blue box to the large one. That is, if they are both wagos...
