*Attempting* under current rdwc

Pics to come as products get delivered but nothing is a kit or from any under current systems.

Parts list:

5 8 gal square ez Stor containers w/ lids
4 6” mesh pots
1 1900 Eflux pump (6010)
1 small pond pump (drip ring pump for youngsters)
25’ 1/2” water line
10 1-1/2” bulkheads (slip-slip)
10’ 1-1/2“ pvc pipe
6 1-1/2” 90 degree pvc elbows
2 1-1/2” pvc tee fittings



4 drip rings
2-3 bags 3/4” hose clamps (10/bag)
4 1/2” shut off valves
2 1/2” tees
Pvc primer and glue

I’ve hand drawn some concepts but won’t share since my kids artwork is better than my plans.

This is the basic concept from the system with a bunch of alterations , but kind of see where I’m coming from.

New system will be based off the current culture design. With a 1-1/2 pvc pipe behind and in front of the plant bucket system and the reservoir in front of those

Are you pumping H2O through the drip rings continually with the small pump? I like the concept and may try to incorporate that into one of my little hydro grows.

Yea that’s how I currently run them. I got the drip rings on amazon for about $8 each. They work fantastically for transplant that’s roots won’t make it past the baskets yet. Once they get into the tanks it’s not helping much.

I’m going to try a current system to see if it helps they more mature plants. It will pull water thru the tanks and back to the reservoir

Quick note, the drip rings are on a timer. They are set for 10 minutes every 3 hours
