yeah as far as diy goes just buying boards quantums and strips are the way to go for price. Im gonne try two of those chilled kits and add some cobs in a 4x8 in a bit here. Perhaps next month.
I cant wait to see grand master level redo the hlg test. This run hps looks to be smoking the hlg but gml fucked up the led side i think pretty bad.
ive not looked into strips much, ill have to do more research on those. Of all these I still find cobs to be the best way to go in general. I mean its so easy to just pop in a new cob as tech advances. the drivers and heatsinks will be good for quite a while.
