I’m a commercial grower of another crop, except for cover crops of nitrogen-fixing clover, all nutrition is delivered via foliar feeding...

I actually was foliar feeding my clones with:

But i think the issue was connected to low water temps, slowing down metabolism...and dragging out rooting process....

Gonna use tops off these clones to side-by-side sterile bucket at high temp vs 68F with garden friendly fungicide (same microbe as hydroguard, but more concentrated and way less expensive).

For plants, 68F is considered a good balance of O2 for roots vs warmth for metabolism. My thought is that misting provides great O2 at higher temps than bubbling water, explaining why lots of growers using aerocloners swear by water temps in the 80s.

Those temps, tho, are favorable to pathogrnic microbes. I think the beneficials just can’t outcompete, at those temps.

So, i’ll be adding the diy version of:

to maintain sterile conditions in the “hot” bucket.

Lights up and workin in all three tents, buckets running in all three tents, but still need to do dwc change out in the one with the clones, ro’ing the day water right now for that.

Had a little scare, as i was clamping the crossbars on the light fixture, a pair of prawn’s boards took a magnificent swan-like platform dive from the high platform (let’s call it 5 ft)...as my Irish friends say, the fookers are tuff...a slight bend in the frame holding the pair together, but even after such a massive bellyflop, they’re back on the job burning their way to china.

Sisters are cookin with gas right now..,so i’m gonna transplant them, see how they look the next day...before topping. Prob transplant them sunday morning; get the buckets to steady pH and nuted at current/less rate going into topping; lightwise, currently running 18:6 @ ~400ppfd, prob drop it to 300-350.

Soon as they’re ready, top; when laterals take off bump ec and ppfd; start training 1st two mains; and start uva/b acclimation.

Recalibrated all pH meters, lights running, dialing in environmental controllers, pH stabilizing, will nute later today.

T minus 20hrs...

Looking good, bro! So the actual comp start's now. I vote the HL boards the winner... They may finish a tad earlier without yielding much lower. Probably a head to head race with the supplemented 288's.

I've finally set up a new batch of seeds.
3 amnesia, 2 amnesia x bluedream(party cup winner), 2 SSH, 1SLH, 1 columbian gold and a blue cheese.

Will keep two of them as mother plants and the other 8 get 1 or 2 weeks before they go in my new cocoDTW system. New LED's are not ready yet but I'm now forced to kick myselfs ass, lol!

My party cup prize arrived finally. It has made a fecken 22 days odyssee thru the customs clearance and at the end I had to pay nothing, lol! And all that because there was no bill, unbelievable!
I'm now a proud owner of a solarbar 8 prototype with solarspec C flowering spectrum and what shall I say...
It's a real beast! Impossible to press all the 8 bars in my small 4x 2,5' area. But 6 bars fit and leave enough free space to add a T5 bulb. Have tested it yesterday and it fits as when he made it for me. But see yourself..

I'm unsure what to do with it. Its worth almost 2 grand. Shit, I wish I had space for another tent..
