With no CO2 why run over 500? We determined long ago with HID with high light levels you must add CO2. http://fluence.science/wp-content/uploa ... .27.16.pdf

Last 3 grows were ~950ppfd , i dunno man, i just watch the plants and take them to max until they stress then back off. All full runs no hermies. I'm using a cheap lux meter to measure intensity so theres that too i do want co2 , i'm getting there, it's taken me a year to get this light this far lolMarine2143 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2019 5:41 pmWith no CO2 why run over 500? Aloha & in the 1970 and 1980 eras PL lighting was state of the art. They showed us to be up to Dutch standards production wise using their lighting you must add CO2. I had the honor of talking to Mr. Poot in Seattle in the 1980s. http://pllight.com
Now that i’ve got a flowering plant, i shutdown two of the four incandescents in the growroom; and changed out the other two to these:
Incandescent:
Green LED:

PL installed the first lighting in the infamous Cannabis Castle more than a few decades ago.http://pllight.com/demystifying-light-l ... bis-grows/

i’ve been using that dli article from purdue for a couple years to target my dli (i target highs of southern oregon/norther california):

Then work backwards to ppfd using this:

Aloha & PL Light has always been the tip of the spear with modern lighting horticulture.
