hello guyz!
hope everybody is right!
im going to let here some picture of the build im making , i finnally got alllll the part i needeed, was soo lonng!
theire is the setup:
my grow space:
65cm x 190cm
co2 level of my flat: between 500ppm and 1800pmm ^^
the light im building will be bluetooth controlled via illumi meshtek.
t slot structure
heatsink can handle passivly 130w
5 solstrip : 2 channel of 48 nichia optisolis 757 @ 5000k 97 cri
1 channel of 8 cree xqe 660 + 4 cri xqe 730
4 solstrip : 2 channel of 48 nichia @ 2000k
1 channel of cree xd16 @ 3500k
i will alternate 1 strip with the 5000k then strip 2000k, then 5000k ect ect.
for the veg, ill activate only the 5000k + cree xd 16 3500k
for the flow: the 5000k @ 30% and full blast of 2000k + 660/730
i let you some picture of the 5000k 97cri ( amazing ) and the 2000k from nichia
nichia optisolis 5000k 97 cri spectrum
nichia 757 @2000k spectrum
so now, i begin the work on the heatsink, trying to make nice wiring, but im really bad at it!
i will post the progression soon:
and the wiring, have to put the 3d printed end cap, just wanna watersplash proof.
next picture will be the jonction box , ill try to do nice work.
cheers!
my solskin build: nichia 5000k 97cri / 2000k + cree 660

Hi,
Love this design, pretty much exactly what I am planning on building, any updates on this?
specifically your intergration of the MeshTek would be amazing,
Great work

nice board,
did you ever get to try it on some plants?

If you use only 5000k optisolis you will likely get a lower yield but of higher quality. Finishing time will be longer also which can be bad if your environment is prone to mould.BobGrow wrote: ↑Tue Dec 31, 2019 5:11 pmI'm also curious, did you build this? The 5000k optisolis spectrum looks so close to natural sunlight, I was thinking of doing just those with a line of 660s to round it out. What do people think of that spectrum for veg + flower? Is it crucial to switch the spectrum when you flip? Never grown before, thanks for tips.
If you are set on that spectrum I would suggest to run 730nm on a separate channel to help speed things up, this should also increase your yields and give you the option for end of day.
If you want to the experiment further then I would add 660nm suppliments to the mix to help balance it out.
You would end up with a pretty nice spectrum with 5000k optisolis, 660nm and 730nm all on separate channels.
Won't be a cheap DIY light though
