Where is the light.... bridgelux EB gen3
I am going to built up the strips again because I think the problem is in the wiring.
But the answer from meanwell about the 2 leads (which can be put together) makes me doubt myself about using a 1.5mm2 main wire. I am going to use the full 11.4A. Is it better to use 2.5mm2?
I dont want to burn the place down......

You should be fine with what gauge of wire you have, I got over board and use the thickest I can for the job. Saying that I always reccomend an automatic fire extinguisher as they are cheap insurance.
Shit can go wrong even if you do everything perfectly, best to have that extra insurance for the sake of $50

I have 15A through 1.5mm², it should be OK I think? So Sly wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 7:58 amI am going to built up the strips again because I think the problem is in the wiring.

Driver → some regular thickish house hold power cable (stranded) → wago → 1.5mm² → the rest
Using 1,5mm² and 0.75mm²
These are Ölflex Heat wires... they take up to 125C and the big ones are rated for 180C
After a hard day work I got myself together and took all the strips from the frame to test them.
Because the minimum current is 4.8A I made 3 sets of 6 strips.
Guess what?
There was light in my life!!
Next step was to put the 18 strips together and turned Io to the max. Yes! The sun was shining!!
( this pic shows not the same amount of light as in real)
I really dont know what went wrong on the frame. For testing I used the same wires and wagos.
I hope the sun will shine again when I put them back on the frame....
Unless the hugh amount of light I dont know if 18x 4" bridgelux eb gen 3 3500K is enough for 1.0x1.2m.
My inner voice tells me to expand.....

After the ledstrip test I have build up the frame again.
Guess what? No light.!!!!
It was getting incredibly annoying.
I didnt change anything. I only bold on the strips on the frame.
And that was the problem! The bolts are making a short circuit.
I dont have experience with the Standard strips but these slim version strips cannot bolt on without plastic rings on the bolts.
Be careful y'all

You could use thermal tape alone though, but plastic/rubber washers probably works
