Cob or strip 20kw hid replacement

Want to replace 20 de grow lights with led, i am fairly experienced in electronics so i dont think the building part will be a problem but could use some advice on most efficient led's to build to replace my cirrent energy hogs

There are plenty of choices now, the main decisions to make is how much you are willing to spend, also if you are growing for quality or quantity.
Do you VEG in the flowering area also.

Well I grow quality flower but also want a good yield and no i dont veg in my flower room i always run a separate veg / clone room
Just trying to avoid paying $1300 ea which is what I would pay for the gavita LED

One of the problems with strips in a room that size is they tend to get in the way. I would suggest you DIY a board build, HLG boards are a good option if you are in the USA.

If you wanted higher quality yields then Prawns boards are good also for higher quality yeilds but at a bit more of an expense.

QB96s from HLG are also a good option if you are on a budget as well as the product from Chill led.

Apart from Prawns boards using suppliment UVA increases THC, Prawns have UVA built into them
