I have these four Samsung horticultural series strips arranged in a rectangular fashion. This is for lighting a aquarium/vivarium.
I have only ever wired linear strips together all from the same end, with the strip arranged side-by aide, parallel to one another.
How do I connect these four strips in series, with the conductors from the diver connecting to the lower right strip?
Thanks

As in the 3 - Series Circuit in the above diagram;
1. Wire LED Driver (+) to (+) of the first Strip in the Series, then
2. Wire (-) of 1st LED Strip to (+) of 2nd LED Strip,
3. Repeat Wiring (-) to (+) for the 3rd and 4th Strips, then
4. Wire (-) of the 4th strip to (-) of the LED Driver to complete the "Series" Circuit.

Only requires one (1) short jumper in each corner, for a total of three (3) "Series" jumpers... Good Luck.

BTW, It's a high Voltage DC circuit (170 - 180 Vdc) that is over the manufacturer's rating for the strip insulation working voltage of 59 Vdc...

The way you showed is the way(s) I already understand how to wire them. I need to wire them as they are arranged in my photo, taking advantage of the terminals on both ends of each strip.
My driver is a ELG-240-C1400B. https://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product ... 24281CCA8B

These strips are SL-B8R5C9H1AWW https://cdn.samsung.com/led/file/resour ... v.1.0.pdf

They each have a typical operating voltage of 21.5V, so 4 in series should be 86V, correct?

I was not aware of "working voltage for insulation" as a property of linear strip that I had to consider. Thank you!

Yes, the Series Voltage will only be 86 - 96 Vdc for the four one (1) foot strips, I calculated for 2 footers.

Would this be series?

Oh thank you, I didn't see that you made the drawing for me before I posted my (much worse) version.

How concerned should I be about exceeding the "working voltage for insulation"? I would be exceeding the rating by over 48%.

The light is working very well. Sorry I'm a horrible photographer.

Is there a device that I can use to give a sunrise sunset feature? Something that can control the dimming circuit of my Mean Well driver on a timer?

Thanks!

I am thinking about doing a similar build with a 125g Planted Aquarium . What did you use as a Heatsink for the Samsung Horticulture LED Strips?
