Im starting to think I need to get an accurate measurement of water entering my system for batch nutrient dosing. Anyone using a flow meter or are most just relaying on a gauge/scale?

today i was looking at the new Atlas Scientific EZO-Flow
https://atlas-scientific.com/flow-meters/
and the beauty part is that its compatible to Tasmota :
https://tasmota.github.io/docs/EZO/

i just received my Hydro Kit today , going to try and make Tasmota work on it
https://atlas-scientific.com/kits/wi-fi ... onics-kit/

once i get it working with Tasmota and HA , i will open a new post in Forum , i can have 16 i2c devices plugged to the Wifi Hydro Kit , so plenty of room for a Ezo-Flow in the future

ya that Atlas flow meter is nice. The more I think about it, it seems like a good idea to get an accurate measurement of water input when I do my dosing. The scale method dosent quite work for my set up cause I have a res and 6 plant sights. #GoingBrokeWithAtlasSensors

I look forward to your new post when you get it going

I just started messing with my EZO flow sensor. The plan is to have a flow sensor on the pump outlet. When I call for the tank to drain and the flow stops, the system will stop the pump running and send me a notification.

Unfortunately esphome doesn't support the flow sensor yet. I tried to hack it but no luck. And I'm still too stubborn to learn Tasmota at the moment.
