Would I be able to run 30 slim gen 3 340mm on a hlg-240-c700?
I would run the 590mm as driver selection seems easier due to the fV but I dont have the room.
I thought I had worked it out but I have just been sat hear re-reading driver specs from 3 different types.
I need help lol.

the driver is max 357V at 700ma so strips are 10.9v at 700ma 357/10.9 = 32 strips, with overheads, seem 30 strip should be right on the money
cheers

The short answer is Yes it could work but is operating at ~ 327 Vdc and 229 Watts output...Sparky115 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 1:13 pmWould I be able to run 30 slim gen 3 340mm on a hlg-240-c700?

The Technical answer is that all Bridgelux LED Strips appear to have the "Working Voltage" rating of 60 Vdc and Samsung appears to be including similar ratings in their newer datasheets...
I recommend Wiring Circuits that maintain the SELV rating (60 Vdc Max) of both the LED Drivers (MeanWell) and LED Strips...
SELV Rating for Bridgelux and Samsung LED Strips based on "Rated Insulation Working Volts".
Typical Generic Circuit Wiring Diagrams for LED Strips
Parallel and Series/Parallel Circuits can utilize 100% output (240 Watts) of the LED Drivers, its much easier to add or remove "Parallel" legs / circuits and still operate at 0 - 100% output, if needed;

HLG-240H-48AB... CC range of 24 ~ 48 Vdc in 4-Series/7-Parallel Circuit @ 43..6 Vf
