my thoughts exactly...
never had any positive effects on topping auto's before...
I've tried autos for the first time, just to see what the deal is... the largest one is the only one I topped:

The topped auto is the furthest along in bud production, also (not conclusive, just my experience - this time).

Oh, these are from Bomb Seeds - THC Bomb and Auto Seeds (Chemdog, Pounder).

Oh shit, I almost forgot... I got this mutant as well: :o

Haven't been able to bring myself to kill it... and finally...

That's my Vader OG, in the DWC bucket. I popped 4: 1 is in soil, 1 is in coco, 1 is still just getting ready in rockwool, and this one.

Thanks.

Oh really? Nice. I'm not even sure which one is which (in my grow) - to be honest...

I just wanted to see what they were all about and why some people are so snooty when they hear you're growing autos (as if setting a timer for your lights makes you a master grower).

Also, I wanted to see how much abuse they can handle (for thousands of years, these things have grown in pretty inhospitable locales).
  • Basically, this involved really limiting water (until it was almost too late) and allowing lower temps than 70F
And I've gotta say... they look heathy.

Day 40 update: The ladies are looking good, I did top the one plant in the middle and she's still growing x-fingers, I also cut my feeding down to every other day at 1000 to 1100 ppm around 6.0ph with RO water in coco using FloraNova grow, bloom. cal/mag. If anyone sees i'm doing something wrong please speak up being this is only my 2nd grow and first with auto's.

Thank you HD

Yeah, I agree. Plus your space looks perfect for that number of plants.

On the other hand.... there are 9 in this tiny box (not so perfect):

Day 50 Update:
So far so good, on day 34 I topped the middle plant and n/p she starting to flower, I did trim her up last night to thin out the leaves and no stress showing, I did trim up the third a week ago the leaves on it were so huge they were blocking out all the light, if you look close to the 1st plant on left I haven't done nothing but feed her and she's the tallest and flowered first.
I know the pictures sux but all I got is a camera phone. till next time, have a safe and happy new year.. HD
dam I knew I forgot something, if anyone follows Dr. Autoflower on youtube and knows what happen to his channel please let me know ty..
