I'm in a similar situation to Buck5050 in that I have a 2x4 grow space. However I figure that I need about 30w per square foot, so a total of 240w.
I'm planning on using BXEB-L0560Z-35E2000-C-B3 strips, but 16 of them, with the HLG-320H-20A driver. At full power this would provide a maximum of 16A, or 1000mA per strip. If I turned the current down to 75%, this would give me 240w, a total of 12A or 7500mA per strip.

Does this sound right?

20v * .750ma = 15w
15w * 16strips = 240w
That's wiring in parallel I believe with that driver you listed. As you have seen from my posts above I am fairly new to this DIY world but this is my understanding.

BTW I received the 8-3500k strips from digikey at the beginning of the week. I have all the material and drivers ready to go. I did order 8- 5000k and those haven't shipped yet. I will start putting most of this together this weekend.

Flawed yet functional. I am waiting on digikey now. These are the 3500k gen2's. Anyone know how to release wire from the connection terminals?

Sweet! Usually you just push down on the top of the connector to release

Hey Buck5050, that looks good and very much like I'm planning. I'm doing 2x 2'x2' so I can use both in a 4x4 tent, or one each in two 2x2s. They will be 600mm x 550mm tho, so they will fit in between the poles. I'm trying to plan them for max versatility so I'm less likely to need to rebuild them.
Do they measure exactly 560mm? I don't want to cut my aluminum yet, just in case they are slightly longer (should be arriving Monday).
Also, that type and length screws did you use?
How did you fix the strips on?

They're very precise on the size and exactly 22"(560mm) in length. All other measurements are exactly what is printed on the datasheets.

I used the double sided tape I listed to mount the strips to the aluminum. I used a 1/2" long self tapping sheet metal screw to attach the channel to the aluminum angle on the edge. My tent is exactly 24" x 48", I wanted to have a 23' x 23" frame so I can move them up and down freely. I had all the metal cut into 23". When cutting aluminum use a hacksaw/bandsaw (don't use a chopsaw as the metal cutting wheels melt the aluminum as it cuts) and clean up when done since you don't want to be breathing the shavings. The aluminum angle on the ends makes it easy to keep everything flush and straight but adds to overall size of the build. The double sided tape is very strong and would make this a pain to remove the strips from the aluminum. Next build I will drill and tap or pop rivet them on with some kind of thermal paste that way I could change them out if I want a different spectrum mix. I think 1" square tubing would of been easier to use as I could of cut them exactly at 22" and mounted the angle on the topside with the self drilling screws. This would of been faster and allowed for more space around the edges. But could make the overall height of the fixture expand if height is an issue in your tents.

You say your tent is exactly 24" x 48". Is that the outside dimensions, or are you measuring between the poles?
I have a DIY tent atm which is slightly bigger, but i assumed a manufactured one would be measured on the outside.
I can't see how to make the long side less than 24" as the led strips are 22 and the aluminum angle side pieces are an inch each,

Here's my plan, the blue circles represent the tent poles:

Ya the 2x4' is outside on my tent. I have seen some tents called a 2x4 that actually have a little more space than mine does. With square tubing you could screw into the opposite side you attach the strips on. Its an 1 inch square and can be cut to 22 inches than each piece has plenty of surface area to mount the driver and what ever you want to use to tie the multiple pieces together. The strips will have plenty of light to fill in the couple inch gaps between the light and the tent.
