Update: Day 60, it's cold a hell here and good thing these are autoflowers were I can leave the lights on at all times do to the cold and need the heat from the lamps, till I can find a good oil filled heater for the tent.. These are suppose to be done in 9 to 11 weeks but looks like they might go to 12 weeks unless they start packing bigger buds...

HD.

The colas are getting fat and frosty.

These started very slowly, I packed 11 plants in a 2ft square. As one took off, I’d move it to a 24/0... these are the last of them.

What up with all the leaves? Maybe its an autoflower thing. I'm used to seeing your stuff with just buds and sugar leaves.

Lol. Yeah, after they develop fully, I like to defoliate to control humidity...

I'm curious to see if they stay dense/hard when dried or if they'll be airy (not sure it's fair to compare to photoperiod given the brief lifecycle, but we'll see).

Hello people:
Sorry to say but my crop has bit the dust (j/k) I took one plant down on the 21st Jan. hung for 6 days weight was 111 grams dried, the last 2 I took down on the 27th Jan, I know I could have done a lot better but a few bumps in the road hurt the grow, such as having to keep the lights on 24/0 to keep the temp in tent up in the mid 70's so the plants didn't get to sleep much, ( winter suxs ). Going to start next grow mid Feb and going with Canna coco line with mammoth P.

Thank you to everyone who helped with grow.. HD.

Yeah, winter is tough (it's my first growing inside) and I've had a tough time getting my seedlings to (really) flourish, also.

Your comment touches on a subject that has recently been of particular concern, tho:
  • The lights-off, sleep and strengthening cycle
I, too, had been growing my autos under 24/0. And because it's been so cold, I let my sprouts get 24/0, as well.

[This is anecdotal, no actual science here.]
This was a mistake. For days, growth was interminably slow.

FYI - during this period, the seedlings and autos were in the same tent (seedlings further from the light).

When I took down the autos, I went to 18/6.

After the very first lights-out period, leaf-elongation and stem growth (of the Vader OG) was the most obvious response.

Being new to indoor growing, I had heard and believed that the only reason not to go 24/0 was to save power, but for me - I'm gonna let 'em sleep.
