Would 6 be enough for that space? No heatsinks required?
Veg and flower autoflowers. LST for a nice even canopy.
Other options?
Thanks
QB 132 for 3'x4'
More than enough. How do you plan to power them? My first inclination would be to use two HLG-185H-36A in parallel - three boards to each driver - but that may not be the best option. Someone more knowledgeable than I is sure to come along and offer their recommendation though!

either or... the hlg-320h-c1400 is recommended because 6 can't fit on a 320h-c1750 voltage wise.. your getting roughly 50 watts a board with the 320h-c1400. dual 185h-36's would give 60-63 watts a board.. ( it runs them close to the 1750ma )
I would stay in that 1400-1750ma range per board. better efficacy and you shouldn't have to worry about the heat.

There’s a lot to be said for something nice and simple like this. No heat sinks and hardly any assembly is great.
On 2 drivers, you can splice certain things together like the AC input feed and the dimming leads, but not the DC output.

are you talking a.c. side for splicing together? yes you can use a "t" ip67 connector and bring both power cords to a single cord.. also if you have plan on getting B types... both can be dimmed from a single potentiometer.. instead of a 100k ohm you need a 50k ohm linear taper potentiometer.
whether to use strips or qb132's your getting into diode count primarily.. say 2 132's just about equals a 288 (264 diode close enough) I run a 288 per 2x2 pretty much or 4sqft.. ( 4 288's over 16sqft/ 4x4) with 6 132's in 12sqft your pretty much running equally to my build.. 2 132's per 4sqft.
and just seeing that while I was figuring numbers I would say your good and I would go with QB's.. but that's just me "the QB nut"
edit; again LG types faster than me Lmao I need a real computer/keyboard over this fire tablet and keyboard I hit 3 letters on with my giant fingers!!!

I'm just curious...
Can you use one 100k 'stereo linear taper potentiometer' to control two HLGs?
There is actually two soldering points on it makes it perfect choice I guess.
also Is it possible to use this potentiometer just to control one driver when only one connected?
Just curious about them potentiometers.

Yeah, you could use a dual 100K linear rather than a single 50K if you wanted to. It's just as easy to Wago the dimmer leads together and then pigtail out to a single 50K though in my opinion.garnier wrote: ↑Thu Mar 22, 2018 2:35 pmI'm just curious...
