Looks like they're giving away some hlg 65s also! That would be sweet!

I can only tell you that I wrote Todogrowled.com (because they sell in Europe quantum Boards)and the guy told me to wait for the new quantum Boards which should be around 10% more efficient.
He is still waiting for the answer when they are available.
When I get more informations I'll let you know.

Wonder if the new light is using the new 324 boards, and what it will cost compared to the 550?
Deleted my post because I got some sort of ghost emoji reaction thing and it was bugging out the whole forum. But yeah, there's some cool stuff coming.

I heard the part the OP is talking about too, and other mentions of "new stuff" (324 board?).
So is it an acutal redesign of the quantum board itself (same lm561c diode, or new, or what), or is it just a new 550 fixture (new due to said boards)?
Can you set me straight, what do you know!? Lol.

The new lights coming from hlg will be with th lm301b from Samsung. He said minimum of 8% gain on efficacy. It could be closer to 10-11%. They have to test some more to get more accurate readings.
