They look better than the one without side light, but there is too many differents factors...
Here is a picture of my new 4x4 light prototype (3600x lm561c diodes, the QB only have 1152x)

Damn! thats more then double the diodes I was looking at.... running at 100% it should give close to 350000 lumen. What are you feeding it with?

Wow! I havent read the whole thing yet but this thread is filled with interesting reading and a lot of information. This is pure gold for me, thank you guys
