I have recently purchased the 4 pack of the qb 120s (4k) for greens and peppers I have a small tent and only have room for two of the qbs and I was going to make a growself or something somewhere else at a later time with the extra two. Horticulture lighting group website suggests that the meanwell HLG-120h-48A should work for 2 boards in series. But I am now worried that there will be too many amps (2500 miliamps) for the boards to handle when run at the full 120 watts. Is this a problem or should I not worry.
Sorry for the basic question I am still trying to figure this out.

I think either HLG-120H-48A in series or HLG-120H-24A in parallel are recommended by the manufacturer for 2 boards.
Either way you shouldn't have any overload issues.

That driver will work great. If you max it out it can produce around 2900ma. Max is 2800ma Just grab a multimeter to measure the current running through the boards. If the boards seem to run too hot for your space you can always adjust the voltage or current down with the built in potentiometers in the driver. Just check out the guides ledg has on his blogs.
