This part of the forum seems to be a tiny bit dead

Curious what's the current situation on high wattage single LED solutions
Is Citizen's CLU058/CLU550 still on top?

Looking for around 300w~ but would be happy for 500w :D

I'd say water cooling is the only way you'd manage temps though, eh?

I do not reccomend runing a cob over 150W.
I have seen the problems that occur running them at high power.
Over 100W should be mounted to a copper heatpipe system.
If you are going to use COBs then it's best to use them at 50W and use alot of them. It's cheaper to do it this way and also alot more effective sure to the better spread.
COBs are nearly a thing of the past for horticultural lighting. They are nice in a downlight in your house though.
