I've been looking at different par meters for my room when I came upon this spectrometer capable of measuring ppfd as well. It'll cost me about $1400 CAD to my door. VS an apogee MQ500 at half that price. But I really wanted to be able to measure my mixed spectrum of CMH and led lighting so I am tempted by this spectrometer.
Does anyone have experience with these Chinese spectrometers? The demo videos are somewhat compelling.
Spec sheet attached.

PAR meter and Spectrometer Hopoocolor OHSP350P
did you end up ordering one of the hopoo's?...
i see they do a HPC300P mini par meter/spectrometer around $600 us https://hopoocolor.en.alibaba.com/produ ... ights.html, so around the cost of an apogee. the specs on it look good just doesnt have a screen it can log data without a computer but needs plugging in via usb to view results.
@TEKNIK have you heard of hopoo?.

Hi mate, ive met with the company before and tried out a couple of their products. The accuracy was way off on the ones I've tried, I still think the lighting passport is good from assentek for general usegrotbags wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 12:35 pmdid you end up ordering one of the hopoo's?...

Software is free on Google play. Only Apple charge for it, cheaper to buy a 2nd hand phone to use it. Ive done alot of IES files, very soon I will have another report system. You guys need to remember, your plants tell you what they need, its upto you to read your plants and that is not something a machine can do right nowSalmonetin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 2:15 am...thanks...SR Teknik any IES Files collection to share with me or other people?....horticultural leds...or other curious led...like Hospital leds... curious panels with UVA... etc

I cant remember sorry, what you bought should be ok, it would be good to check it against something else that you know is accurate. Just see how you go with it.grotbags wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 10:27 amarrrrr i wish id seen this earlyier i ended up buying one of the hoppo OHSP350P, but ive not really had time to play with it yet. do you remember which models you looked at and which features were "way off"?.TEKNIK wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 9:37 pmHi mate, ive met with the company before and tried out a couple of their products.
