Thanks I'll reach out to them up and see what they say. How should I refer to the diodes? "Teknik's super violet 3030 LED's"?

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
Wow. I have yet to see anything close to that. Are there monos that you would recommend for someone doing diy to bolster that end? I'm soldering these supplementals into starboards right on my 4.5ft heatsinks between my strips to try to shift things in that direction. But even without a readout I'm ...

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
That's awesome. Yeah you definitely have a niche. I poured over digikey awhile ago, and was disheartened by the lack of violet LED's. I am between a few randoms in the 405 range, or just giving up and using some 7-8k whites. I don't understand why there are not more reliable companies doing this. Th...

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
I've been pouring over spectral graphs for weeks. That is VERY noticable. You sharpened up that incline quite a bit. That is impressive. Are you doing it with a custom phosphor? or do you manufacture these from the ground up. Also, you mention manufacturers. Do you sell these to diyers? I've been re...

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
I only see them available through TME. Real cheap though. I'm in the US. Just can't justify the shipping.HomerPepsi wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 2:37 amI am happy with the Citizen CLU048-1212C4-B455. You can run em quite soft and still get a LOT of blue coming out.

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
I am working on some new LEDs and have been for a while. Could be months off with what's going on in China at the moment. I have made my PC blue 3030 which has 400nm and 2 420nm with blue phosphor over the top all in one led. That one is available now but it's not a cheap chip. It's coming in at 50...

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
You can buy some cheap UV meters. I don't think they are accurate. I will get a proper meter one day that I can connect to my goniophotometer so I can see what's really going on. Before you buy UVB I would suggest to fill in the near UV region of 400nm to 450nm. Tests that Or_Gro conducted showed v...

Re: Looking for advice for small BXEB slim gen 3 build
Understandable. As I am not growing cannabis, I've got to be very tight with my ROI. So I ended up not shooting for uvb and focusing on uva. Just got some cheap opulent starboard's (5)385nm, and (5)400nm. To go with my cree photo reds. It might be a bad call, but strapped to an 8 watt driver, it wil...
