Let's hope so, thanks for the info as well.Steveb123321 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 7:44 pmMy hlg-185h-20b puts out 18.5V with pot shorted. Hopefully thats the problem.
At 18.5V all 12 of your strips together would only be producing about 20W.

Re: Troubleshooting Help: Light Output Suddenly Reduced
I have not tried it with the pot disconnected as it is soldered to the driver and did not want to remove it without first knowing. I will try to pull it and see what happens.ATPinMotion wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 6:53 pmCould be, I would start with the pot. What kind of output do you get with the pot disconnected?

Troubleshooting Help: Light Output Suddenly Reduced
Hello everyone! I am in need of a little advice regarding troubleshooting my DIY light (build thread: http://ledgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=467 ). Just recently my HLG-150H-20A appears to only be putting out 18.5 V to each strip (I tested all but two at various places in the light). Ther...

Re: Different sized Bridgelux EB2 Strips
Thanks for the information! I will just grab some extra 1 ft. strips and add those in when I need them to offset the dimming. Again, thank you!

Different sized Bridgelux EB2 Strips
I am getting ready to setup a second DIY light based on the 6, 1 ft., BXEB-L0280Z-50E1000-C-B3 strips, using a HLG-120H-20b driver. I would like to add in one or two 2 ft. BXEB-L0560Z-50E2000-C-B3 strips on a switch that I could turn on while I need a seedling light (this light will be on a differen...

Changes to Bridgelux EB2 Strips?
Hello there fellow LED Gardeners! I am looking to expand m current growing setup with more of the EB2 strips but when I look at the same part number on places like Arrow and Digikey it appears that the 1' strips that used to have 56 LEDs per strip now only have 33? https://www.arrow.com/en/products/...

Re: New EB Gen 2 Build - Input on Choices
First and foremost thanks for all the compliments. I really tried to make this blend in as much as I good (since this is in our kitchen) and the family actually really likes the way it looks so I agree that adding the reflector may not be the best choice, but I think experimenting with something acr...

Re: New EB Gen 2 Build - Input on Choices
So it is finally time for an update to my build! I have been running my new light for the last month or so and am really enjoying the growth I am seeing as well as the lower overall wattage draw from the wall. Now I am at a point where I think there may need to be tweaks to get the best efficiency b...

Re: New EB Gen 2 Build - Input on Choices
A bit off topic for this thread, but Heatsink USA is offering a 10% off promotion this month (March of 2018) with code GIVEME10. Hopefully I will have some photos of my build up very soon as well (all is going really well with the growing so far). A quick question though on driver temps. What all ar...
